I first heard about this on the radio and then I couldn’t wait to see it on TV. I’m so afraid of heights that I just can’t imagine why anyone would skydive, much less without a parachute.
Luke Aikins, a skydiving consultant, successfully jumped 25,000 feet this past weekend, from a plane with nothing on him but a GPS, a camera, a communication device, and an oxygen mask.
Aikins landed a few minutes later on a 10,000 square-foot net. The netting is constructed from Spectra, a high-density polyethylene cord that is twice as strong as steel.
Aikins is 42-years old and has been skydiving for decades.
Watch the video.
Later this week, I will be featuring an interview with Doug Garr, a friend of mine. Doug is in his 60s and skydives all the time. We will find what makes him tick.

The man must be insane and really hate his life!!!! i saw it on the news last night.
