Amazon just launched a new store called “50+ Active and Healthy Living.” This is going to be a one-stop shop for hundreds of thousands of items including nutrition and wellness, exercise and fitness, medical supplies, personal care, beauty products, and entertainment.

I am personally thrilled about this new venture because more and more of my friends are shopping online for their groceries, clothes, electronics, books, furniture, and anything they can think of. Most of them swear they are saving money. They claim they get free shipping plus discounts and rewards. They over buy and return what they don’t want. They love it!

The press release announcing the new venture said the store will have detailed “product information, images, customer reviews, best sellers, recommendations and a resource center with tips on beauty, healthy eating, caregiving, and various other topics to help customers discover products that are right for them.”
