Forbes magazine recently ran a story about “Amazing And Absurd Places For Rent.” Airbnb, the online service that provides patrons with rentals in unoccupied living space and other short-term lodging options, helped search out zany accommodations.

Take a look at this one. I just couldn’t pass this up. I had to share with you.

This is a commercial jet-turned-two bedroom apartment situated on a 59-foot pedestal in Costa Rica. It is finished in teak paneling and has an adjoining terrace facing the ocean.
