Yes it does speaks volumes, thanks Lois. To me, President Obama exemplifies how a President should be—his steadfast & reassuring temperament, optimism, hopefulness & inspirational to his country. I never felt that his ego took center stage, always altruistic. Many people forget what he inherited when he took office…he brought dignity back to the Presidency. He fulfilled many of his promises. Trump doesn’t care about us—hopefully our democracy will hold him in check in the next very worrisome 4 years.
I think that history will prove that Barack Obama will be remembered as the greatest president of his time. Period. Full stop. I’m Canadian, and I always felt he was my president too.
