I was introduced to Park Assist last night for the very first time. I am wondering how many other parking garages around the country feature this new technology? It actually locates and finds your car. All you have to do is type in your license plate number in the kiosk. It’s as easy as that.
I am sure there were many times when you parked your car in a large garage and forgot where you put it. Not anymore.
All you have to do is use the locator system that features a camera based smart-sensor system with an integrated License Plate Recognition (LPR). It’s tracking your car from the minute you enter the garage to when you leave.
This newest technology also tracks empty parking spaces so drivers can be directed to available locations. It’s wild.
This is the wave of the future. Check for Park Assist the next time you enter a parking garage. It makes you feel secure and confident. No more walking the aisles looking for your car. Park Assist tells you exactly where to find it.
We’ve had similar systems around here for several years. Are you in Miami? Do you own a car there and know the license plate #? Do you have a car in NYC? Who do you know license number of rental cars (maybe it’s on the rental key chain fob). These systems are convenient for finding cars. Wish they had them in more sprawling airport parking lots.
Shades of 1984. Big brother is watching you
I have some bad memories about wandering in a parkade looking for my car. This would help!
