TikTok is a Chinese video-sharing social networking service owned by ByteDance, a Beijing-based Internet technology company founded in 2012. It is used to create short music, lip/sync, dance, comedy and talent videos of three to 15 seconds, and short looping videos of three to 60 seconds.

TikTok has 800 million active users worldwide. The TikTok app has been downloaded over 2 billion times on the App Store and Google Play.
