The only mystery about the Cecil Hotel documentary was why Ron Howard didn’t cancel it after the first ten minutes. It was awful. The CNET review may have been a spoiler but it was really a saver. Saving people from wasting their time. Better off watching the Netflix documentary about Sam Cooke, especially if you watch “One Night in Miami” on Amazon Prime.
