Eliot, Steve, Robert, Harry and I went to Surfside on Sunday to witness the destruction of the collapsed condo. Like many folks, we just couldn’t wrap our heads around what happened. We wanted to see the area for ourselves. It was just too surreal to comprehend. We are all donating time and money to help those in need.

Eliot captured a note that the Captain of the Heat, Udonis Haslem, left on the Memorial Wall for the families of the Champlain Towers. People need people. Thank you Udonis.

Devastating… we mourn all the losses and our cousins’ cousins… can only hope it happened so fast they didn’t feel anything. May their memories be for blessings.
Photos worthy of any top photojournalist. Thank you for sharing your perspective on this tragedy.
