A dear friend of mine, Kimiko Powers, who is Japanese but formerly lived in NY was a dear friend of Issey and almost always wore his fashions except when she was in a kimona. She introduced him to Chisto, and he was working on a Cristo exhibit in Japan when he died unexpectedly.
