The big opening night for the 12×12 Exhibition and Silent Auction at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum. Prices start at $125.00.

The woman in the hat is Harriet Reisen who wrote a terrific biography of Louisa May Alcott, which was the basis for a wonderful movie. ArtSpeak’s video interview with her husband, NPR’s Tony Kahn, will be published this month. The woman with her back to the camera is artist & travel writer Necee Regis, whose stories appear regularly in the Boston Globe & elsewhere. Necee had a studio at the Bakehouse Art Complex for a longtime & a condo in South Beach, but departed Miami about 10 years ago.
