Where was I on Tuesday? At Fountainhead Arts in Miami, meeting with the remarkable women of the Forum committee to help create lasting opportunities for artists. This is our second year.
Together, we launched Forum’s $125,000 inaugural fund to support Fountainhead alumni throughout their careers—helping bring their work into museum collections, institutional exhibitions, and public conversations.
With an initial $25,000 grant from the Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation and the backing of eleven foundational leaders, the fund’s inaugural recipients are Amy Bravo, Ebony G. Patterson, Gabriela Ruiz, Jenelle Esparza, Kennedy Yanko, Lucia Hierro, and Victoria Udondian.
Proud to be part of a group of women turning a shared commitment to artists into meaningful, lasting support.

My response!
I look forward to seeing CTA engage more actively with the Democratic Party.
I attended the first CES and every show thereafter until a few years ago, when what I viewed was favoritism toward the Republican Party. Some will undoubtedly dispute that characterization, but the longstanding justification was that Republicans were more supportive of business. I believe the consequences of that assumption deserve serious reflection.
My perspective comes from 11 years as a trade reporter and 50 years as co-owner of HWH PR, a leading technology public relations agency that remains very active today.
With that history and continued commitment to this industry, I welcome a woman at the helm and look forward to your leadership bringing fresh perspectives, broader engagement, and a more balanced political approach.
