Kathie Lee Gifford of the Today Show was just goofing with Steve Greenberg, the Innovation Insider, when he recently presented the Mighty Mug to Kathy and Hoda on air. Kathie decided she wanted to have some fun and started to challenge the Mighty Mug with some heavy left hooks. At $14.99, the Mighty Mug is being billed as the mug you can depend on. “Knock it and it won’t move.” It takes a small amount of air at its base to seal it. The Mighty Mug works on non-pourous surfaces.

Watch Kathie Lee pretend she is Muhammad Ali. Unfair advantage. No harm done. This segment was written up on Huffington Post and Steve’s response video (click here, then click on “Continue to media” on second page to see video) generated almost 500,000 hits. Not bad exposure for a product that is now selling like crazy. I guess there are a lot of Sloppy Joes, including me. Can’t begin to tell you how many times my “mouse” arm has hit my coffee cup.
