I don’t make this stuff up. I just report it.
Every time I go to a public bathroom, I think that I am sanitizing my hands if I use the air dry.
Wrong!
CNET just reported that the scientists at the University of Connecticut discovered that hand dryers spread fecal matter that’s already in the air.
The study entitled “Deposition of Bacteria and Bacterial Spores by Bathroom Hot-Air Hand Dryers” found that “after a toilet is flushed, the fecal particles in the air land on the hand dryer, then are redistributed to the users damp hands, which happens to also be the perfect condition for germs to spread.”
While paper towels are not politically correct, they are definitely cleaner.

Oh, crap.
Now that is such a pleasant thought.
Never inhale in a public bathroom.
Yuck
A treasure trove of valuable information!
