If you work in the Flatiron district of Manhattan, you’ve probably seen Anthony Weiner (the former New York congressman who disgraced himself in a Twitter scandal a few years ago) having lunch on the terrace of the popular hot spot Almond Restaurant on East 22nd Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South.

I have been wondering since the beginning of last summer why he hangs out there so much since there are a hundred or so restaurants in the area. An article in the New York Times finally spelled it out. His brother Jason owns the restaurant. Continue reading
