Contact Tracing

Good news for those who are unemployed. Local governments are hiring thousands of Americans to be “disease detectives,” better known as “contact tracers” to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Contact tracing tracks those folks who were recently in contact with people diagnosed with the virus. They are asked to quarantine themselves to prevent further spread.

Companies like Google and Apple are developing apps that will identify people with the virus. This could really help to flatten the curve until the entire disease is wiped out.

But then there are people who don’t like the idea of being monitored, and have been expressing themselves in opinion pieces in newspapers, or on social media.

Which one are you?

Watch the video which is “pro tracking” and then a post from a former client who is definitely against it.

Just for the record, I want tracking if it will help eradicate many of the contagious diseases.
