The Mighty Mug comes in a variety of colors

Kathie Lee Gifford of the Today Show was just goofing with Steve Greenberg, the Innovation Insider, when he recently presented the Mighty Mug to Kathy and Hoda on air. Kathie decided she wanted to have some fun and started to challenge the Mighty Mug with some heavy left hooks. At $14.99, the Mighty Mug is being billed as the mug you can depend on. “Knock it and it won’t move.” It takes a small amount of air at its base to seal it. The Mighty Mug works on non-pourous surfaces.

The Biz of Show Biz, Plus

20130421-213708.jpg

The new Broadway Show with Bette Midler about the life and career of Sue Mengers, Hollywood’s super agent, made me think of my career and the career of many of my entrepreneur friends. I wish I would have known then what I know now. I definitely would have done a few things differently. I am sure you have heard that line before but I never really thought about it as much as I did after seeing the show.

You Are Going to Love Me for This

20130420-224921.jpg

I hate when I take what I think is going to be the perfect photo on my iPhone only to discover that I didn’t notice that little doohickey that spoils the scene. I just want to rub it out.

Now I can. There is a TouchRetouch app for iPhone and Android that lets you remove a blemish, a person, a garbage can, or whatever ruins your photo.

The app is 99 cents and removes all unwanted marks almost the same way Photoshop does. You just use your finger to eliminate the unwanted element on the touchscreen with the tools provided. You highlight the mark, hit a button, and the program removes the unwanted spots.

It’s as simple as that. Have fun perfecting your photos.

New Meaning to “Reinventing The Wheel”

20130420-202802.jpg

Here’s our chance to relive our youth. Remember when we used to bang on the steering wheel pretending to be a rocker? Now there is a steering wheel cover from Smack Attack called “Reinventing The Wheel,” or “RITW,” that has eight “smack” areas which instantaneously gives all kinds of drum sounds: bass drum, snare, tom, high hat, ride cymbal, crash cymbal, splash cymbal, and cowbell. Hit “RITW” in a smack area and you hear a thump, smack, or crash on top of any music from your iPhone’s music library.

The great part Is that setting up “RITW” is easy. All you have to do is slide the steering wheel cover over any steering wheel. Turn on the “RITW” and add drums to the music in your iPhone’s iTunes library by using Bluetooth.

Operating the “RITW” is not hazardous to driving. Your eyes never leave the road.
